Touta Magaoka (曲岡統太) is a character that appears in Magical Girl Raising Project: breakdown.
An orphan raised by his aunt, he only learned about the Magical Kingdom recently, after it was discovered he is a distant relative of the late Sataborn, and thus eligable for his inheritance. He is accompanied to Sataborn's private island by Miss Marguerite.
Appearance[]
Touta Magaoka
He is described as a cute young boy by Miss Marguerite. He has short black hair with black eyes. he wears a black shirt with a big grey stripe in the middle, and his sleeves have a blue stripe at the end. He changes into typical Mage clothes before traveling to the manor.
Personality[]
He is hyperactive and loves to eat. He thinks Magical Girls are very cool and takes a liking to Miss Marguerite. He likes video games and trading cards, having won a tournament. He also loves his pet crayfish and believes he is the only one capable of taking care of it.
He unintentionally compares the breast sizes of Magical Girls.
Magic[]
Touta has no magic power or special ability, as he is neither a mage nor a magical girl, and it is unknown if he might develop any in the future.
Whilst on The Island, however, his lack of magic proves to be an unlikely advantage, as he is completely unaffected by the magic-draining flora and invisible to the magic-seeing Francisca Francesca.

She is assigned to be his companion. Miss Marguerite thinks Touta reminds her of her former apprentice Anna Marie due to their hyperactive personalities. He likes to ask Miss Marguerite questions and was happy that she called him her apprentice.

Etymology[]
- The name Touta means "united, governing" (統) (tou) and "thick, big, great" (太) (ta).
- "太" is a kanji used in boys’ names to mean "healthy" (太 ta).
- Touta's surname Magaoka means "song, tune, piece of music, high-angle, bend" (曲) (maga) and "ridge, hill" (岡) (oka).
