Thunder-General Adelheid (雷将アーデルハイト), also known by her real name Adelheid Müller (アーデルハイト・ミュラー), is one of the main protagonists of Magical Girl Raising Project: Black, Magical Girl Raising Project: White, and Magical Girl Raising Project: Red.

She is a member of Class 2-F's Group 2 at Umemizaki Middle School and was recommended for the Magical Girl class by the Department of Diplomacy. She is also an alumnus of Archfiend Cram School.

In White, it is revealed that she and the rest of Group 2, minus Kana, were given a secret mission by Pythie Frederica to excavate the ruins underneath the school.
In Red, she attempts to escort her classmate, Princess Lightning, to safety while Umemizaki is besieged by an army of clones of the latter.

Human

As a human, Adelheid has trimmed, natural blonde hair that reaches to her shoulders. She has blue eyes and is described to have a fair complexion, a mature face, and stands at 170cm.

She also wears the Umemizaki school uniform, which consists of a dark pink top with long sleeves and a pleated skirt. The collar of the top is white with black stripes and there is a black bow tied underneath.

Magical Girl

As a Magical Girl, Thunder-General Adelheid has dull greyish yellow hair that fades to neon yellow at the ends. Her hair is tied into four ponytails with spiked bands. Her eyes are grey with a pink pupil that has a yellow line down the middle, and she can be seen wearing neon pink eyeshadow. Her right ear is pierced with an indigo-colored earring while her left ear appears unpierced. On top of her head, she wears a greyish purple military hat with lightning strikes scattered throughout. There are also two spikes on the front of her hat as well as a metallic emblem. The brim of her hat is black

Adelheid wears a white and grey body suit, the upper half having the appearance of a white button-up. The top is pulled apart, and two black cups cover her chest area with metallic lining that resembles bolts of lightning. Her pants have giant holes at the hips, and even become her boots at the bottom. The fronts of her boots has three spikes and metallic soles. The top of her outfit is sleeves, and she wears elbow-length grey gloves with two spikes along the arm and a metallic ring on one of her fingers. She also has a metallic band wrapped around her right bicep. Across Adelheid's shoulders is a long, grey flowy cape with spiked shoulder pads. The inside of her cape is purple and magenta with streaks of lightning scattered within.

Personality

Adelheid presents herself as someone friendly and relaxed. She has no trouble starting conversations with members of other groups, unlike most of the other Class-F students, openly going up to Group One to ask if they had information on the prisoner's transfer. She speaks with a southern accent that is described to be like a hillbilly's, though Tetty Goodgripp makes a mental note that Adelheid is perfectly capable of speaking punctually. Adelheid claims this is because she has a character to maintain.

As noted by Calkoro, Adelheid often makes attempts to come off as funny but falls flat on her face. Calkoro says she has not laughed once at one of Adelheid's elaborate jokes.

As an alumnus of Archfiend Cram School, Adelheid is honorable and has a lot of pride. She can easily lose her calm if someone insults the Archfiend Cram School or their students.

Magic

Can reuse absorbed energy.

Adelheid can absorb any kind of energy and redirect it through her body, and can also use her sword to aim her attacks. She is capable of absorbing electricity as well as physical attacks, and can also absorb energy while emitting any excess simultaneously.

While she can absorb a great amount of energy, Adelheid does have her limits, which when reached, results in her body feeling like it is burning. When dealing with an abnormal amount of energy, Adelheid is unable to effectively emit any excess.

Special Move(s)

• Kaiser Schlacht: Adelheid can absorb energy from her entire body, direct it towards her sabre, and unleash it toward her opponents.
• Sigfried Linien: Adelheid can absorb electricity and stored them. With her magic, she is able to put all of that power into a single physical attack.
• Blitzkrieg: A move where Adelheid can absorb and transfer non-electrical energy to her legs.
• Wilhelm Geschütz:A move that allows Adelheid to move all of her stored energy into her saber. Using her sheath like a cannon, she uses the energy to make her saber fly out like a rocket towards her enemy.

Special Item(s)

• Adelheid's Saber: Adelheid's main weapon that she used along with her power. It is designed like a military saber.

Relationships

Mephis Pheles

Thunder General-Adelheid and Mephis Pheles are in the same class group in Black.

Adelheid, like the rest of her group, notes that Mephis has a temper and stays out of her way. Despite this, she seems to think that Mephis' antics are somewhat humorous. Adelheid and Mephis, along with Classical Lillian, often discuss baseball games together.

Kana

Thunder-General Adelheid and Kana are in the same class group in Black.

Adelheid has shown to be somewhat cautious of Kana due to her criminal record, to the point to being against her partaking in Group 2's secret meetings regarding their covert mission at the school.

Kumi-Kumi

Thunder-General Adelheid and Kumi-Kumi are in the same class group in Black.

Classical Lillian

Thunder-General Adelheid and Classical Lillian are in the same class group in Black.

The two of them seem to get along decently. When Adelheid gained an interest in professional baseball, Lillian got into it with her, and the two of them along with Mephis Pheles sometimes chat about the previous day's game together.

Princess Lightning

During the events of Black, Adelheid and Princess Lightning end up crossing paths while trying to sneak inside the Umemizaki's old school building at night, a fight quickly ensuing afterwards. Adelheid manages to defeat Lightning, but is shocked when she manages to get up after an especially strong attack and walk away. Princess Lightning would later refer to their battle as a romantic encounter underneath the moonlight, although Adelheid herself did not share the sentiment.

In White, Princess Lightning continuously approaches Adelheid, suggesting that the two of them should work together and showing interest in Adelheid as a person. Adelheid, however, is only confused by this and tells Lightning that she seems different, to which Lightning coyly replied that she has not noticed any such change in herself.

When the school is attacked, Lightning and Adelheid face off once more, being allied with Old Blue and Pythie Frederica respectively. While exchanging playful banter throughout the fight, Adelheid ultimately delivers a fatal blow to Lightning. Lightning requested Adelheid to feed her Lapis Lazuline III's candy, to which she obliged. The truth behind Lightning's strange change in personality toward Adelheid is then revealed: she is actually an Artificial Magical Girl, akin to the Shufflin series, and Adelheid had been interacting with a clone of her.

Archfiend Pam

Adelheid studied under Archfiend Pam's supervision.

Adelheid's Mother

Her mother, who is also a Magical Girl and a graduate of Archfiend Cram School, taught her everything she needs to know about the Magical Kingdom, combat, and general education.

Snow White

Adelheid first learned of the Magical Girl Hunter from lectures at Umemizaki about her exploits. Upon actually meeting her after she transferred to her class, however, Adelheid was suspicious of how she was completely different from what the stories suggested, believing she was putting up an act. Despite this, the two quickly started getting along, with Adelheid regularly laughing at Snow White's bad jokes and being interested in her relationship with Marika.

Marika Fukuroi

Adelheid seems to have known Marika from her days at Archfiend Cram School, respectfully referring to her as "Marika-Senpai". They were close enough to where, after Snow White transferred to Umemizaki, she asked her how she was doing.

Archfiend Cram School

The school Adelheid graduated from.

During the raid at Umemizaki, Adelheid runs into numerous Archfiend Cram School graduates, all of whom attempt to aid her in attacking Princess Lightning. However, Adelheid manages to dissuade them by saying her fight with Lightning is one on one, and that she has a lot of respect for the school.

Pythie Frederica

During the events of Black and White, it is revealed that Adelheid had been secretly working with Pythie in order to sneak into The Ruins underneath the school.

Trivia

• Thunder-General Adelheid was recommended to the Magical Girl Class by the Department of Diplomacy.
• The names of all her special moves are based on the following.
  • Kaiserschlacht ("Kaiser's Battle") is based on the Spring Offensive, a series of German attacks along the Western Front during the First World War.
  • Sigfried Linien is named after Linienwall, an outer line of fortifications for the city of Vienna, Austria
  • Blitzkrieg ("Lightning War") is named after Blitzkrieg, a method of short, fast, and powerful attack to break an enemy's defense using speed and surprise to encircle the enemy with air superiority.
• While not explicitly confirmed, it is strongly implied that Adelheid is German.
