Sorami Nakano (中野宇宙美) is one of the main characters of Magical Girl Raising Project: ACES.

She is Puk Puck's third protégé and mediator between Uluru and Premium Sachiko. Perceptive and breezy, Sorami is the youngest of her sisters.

Appearance

Human

It is currently unknown what Sorami looks like as a human, as her human form was never revealed. However, given that Puk Puck would not let her go to Karaoke, due to her not being old enough to drink, it can be assumed that Sorami is at least under 20.

Magical Girl

As a Magical Girl, Sorami has dark purple hair tied into two twintails. Her hair has is a gradient color near the bottom, with soft purple on the right and pink on the other. She has a straight fringe with a pastel pink gradient color in the middle of her bangs. Her left eye is red and her right eye is blue. Her pupils are addition and subtraction signs, and both are pale yellow.

There are multi-colored animal paw accessories in her hair, as well as a light blue pixel spaceship on the top of her head. The paws in her hair are purple-black, pink-red, pink-purple and pink-teal. She wears a black choker with a red heart charm. Her nails are painted blue on the left and red on the right. 

She wears a cutesy white sailor fuku with a white color that has pale pink stripes. The cuffs of her long sleeves also have pale pink stripes. She wears a baby blue skirt with suspenders over her uniform. Around her neck, she wears a dark pink white-striped neck piece with a bunny head mascot as a brooch.  She also wears a black and white gamer screen that has hot pink buttons and a black heart at the top of the device around her neck. It has a purple screen and dark pink mottled designs as decoration.

Sorami wears a light pink backpack with heart shapes on the front of her shoulder straps. Her thigh-high stockings are white and fade to purple. They are decorated with a dark purple pixel spaceship on the top left and a pink space ship on the bottom right. She wears white sneakers colored with lavender and pale green at the back. They have hot pink soles and laces.

She is usually shown with a lollipop inside either one of her cheeks.

Personality

Unlike her stubborn eldest sister and cowardly older sister, Sorami is remarkably easygoing. She's relaxed, if a bit lazy, and acts as the mediator between Uluru and Premium Sachiko. Sorami is dedicated to her Sage, Puk Puck, and works efficiently as Puk Puck's third protégé.

Despite being the youngest of the Puk sisters, Sorami behaves as if she is the eldest. She's attentive and intuitive, and does her best to make communication between individuals as smooth as possible.

Sorami dearly loves Uluru and Premium Sachiko. She knows their personalities and quirks like the back of her hand. Throughout their lives together, Sorami has stepped between them and cushioned their squabbles. Her easygoing personality is the perfect mesh to keep them together. And, like her sisters, she loves Puk Puck, too.

As a protégé of Puk Puck, Sorami has undergone Magical Girl training. However, due to her inherent laziness, she skipped out on her training often. This is by no means an implication that she is weak. Micchan the Dictionary notes that Sorami is considerably strong, and believes that the fact is to be expected of a Magical Girl working under Puk Puck.

Magic

Knows what’s inside things without opening them up.

She can see the contents, including the information, of sealed things without having to break the seal. The magic applies to objects in a "closed state". The more secure and secret the information is, the clearer she can see it. In a completely sealed space, she can gather all information of that space.

Relationships

Uluru

Sorami's eldest sister. She loves Uluru very much. Whenever Uluru got frustrated or sad, Sorami would cheer her up by hugging and kissing her. During Sorami's fight with Micchan, Sorami avoided going near Uluru in order to protect her.

Premium Sachiko

Sorami's older sister. She loves Sachiko very much.

Puk Puck

Sorami's leader, and mother. She loves her very much.

Snow White

Snow White and Sorami are partners during the events of ACES. She tries to help Uluru and Snow White get along better. During Sorami's fight with Micchan, Sorami avoids getting closer to Snow White and Uluru in order to avoid putting them at risk.

Micchan the Dictionary

Micchan and Dark Cutie met Sorami. Her sisters and Snow White and fought against them. Sorami and Micchan had a battle in an apartment, and she didn’t want to run away for the sake of Snow White and her sisters. Sorami used the best of her magic in the fight until Dark Cutie finally killed her. Micchan was completely remorseless of being responsible for the death of someone.

Puk's Faction

Sorami Nakano is part of the Puk Faction.

Etymology

The name "Sorami Nakano" is a play on "Naka no Sora Mi" (中の宇宙見) which means "seeing inside the void," which is her magic power.

• Sorami's surname Nakano means "middle" (中) (naka) and "field, wilderness" (野) (no).
