Ranyui (ランユウィ) is one of the main protagonists of Magical Girl Raising Project: Black.
Ranyui is a member of Group 3 of Class 2-F in Umemizaki Middle School.

Human[edit | edit source]
As a human, Ranyui has a brown ponytail that is described to reach down to her back, and brown eyes. It is said that she often has a "poor expression" on her face. She wears a school uniform.
Magical Girl[edit | edit source]
Ranyui has short blue hair where certain part of it is shaped like a fish's fin. She has red eyes and white pupils with red eye shadow on her eyelids.
She wears a white and red leotard/one-piece outfit decorated with scales and a sliver metal-like belt on her waist. Attached on her shoulder and wrist are several light and dark blue floats. Following her Japanese goldfish motif, she has a matching white and red hat, tail, and a garter on her left thigh.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Ranyui is very hard-working and ambitious, as she highly desires to become the next Lapis Lazuline. However, she is prideful or arrogant, as she is able to recognize her standards are lower compared to her partner’s. She appears to be friendly with Diko Narakunoin, another candidate for the title of Lapis Lazuline, and even highly admires her, despite the two competing for the same title.
Magic[edit | edit source]
Can connect doors with other doors.
Ranyui can connect an entrance and an exit as long as there are two holes or gaps. She is able to pass through it as if it was a teleporter. Anything that has a gap is considered a door to her such as two fallen trees leaning against each other.
It is unknown if her magic has any range limit or if anyone else other than her can pass through the doors.
