Miss Satou, previously known as Mr. Satou, is a character first introduced in Magical Girl Raising Project: Black. She later reappears in Magical Girl Raising Project: White.
She is Umemizaki’s school janitor, and is often seen tending the garden in the Courtyard. Her real name is currently unknown.

It is revealed in White that she is actually a homunculus copy of Musician Of The Forest, Cranberry, originating from the Experimental Site. She had been taken by Halna Midi Meren and used to guard The Ruins. |
In Red, she works together with Halna as well as the other transformed magical girls to defend The Ruins from both Pythie's as well as Old Blue's forces. |
Appearance[]
Miss Satou is a mage described as having a well-arranged face, appearing similar to an elf. She has hair tied up in a bun, wears a towel around her neck, and has pointed ears.
Mephis describes her as looking just like the principal of Umemizaki.

Tetty Goodgripp[]
Tetty Goodgripp and Miss Satou are both members of the Information Bureau. When Tetty comes to ask her about the Bureua, Miss Satou tells her all she needs to know.
Tetty came up with the name Miss Satou, naming her such after an old neighbor.
Mephis Pheles[]
Mephis and Miss Satou meet each other during the events of White.
Miss Satou was eager to see Mephis, interested in her relationship with Tetty.

In Red, Diko Narakunoin and Miss Satou work together to defend The Ruins. Despite looking identical to Cranberry, and knowing of the grudge that Old Blue has against her, Diko didn't feel a single thing about fighting her.

- Originally, in the Japanese release of Black, Miss Satou was male and was referred to as Mr. Satou. Following the release of White, Miss Satou has since been referred to as a female.
- Yen Press uses gender neutral pronouns in their translation of Black, keeping Miss Satou’s gender ambiguous.
