Relationships[]

Musician Of The Forest, Cranberry[]

Prior to becoming Magical Girls, Momo and Ichigo were childhood best friends, having grown up together in a children’s home, having met during a festival in which Ichigo won a small chick. The chick passed away the next day, and Momo would help Ichigo bury the chick, becoming friends shortly thereafter. Momo once promised Ichigo that she would protect her, and the two of them also became magical girls together. Unfortunately, Miiya would be gravely injured by the Homunculus that rampaged the exam, leading the two of them to become separated for 20 years.

Miiya’s regret over her inability to protect Cranberry becomes one of her main motivators to find her, working together with Theremin Doll in order to accomplish her goal. Miiya would learn various things about Cranberry, such as rumors that her exams have caused numerous casualities, however she does not believe them. Miiya believes that Cranberry wouldn’t have the strength to put other people through the same thing she went through during her exam.

Eventually, the two of them reunite during Pechka and Cappuchino exam, although the reunion is cut short by an attack from Theremin Doll towards Cranberry. Eventually, numerous homunculi escape from a box within Theremin Doll’s jacket, leading Miiya and the other two magical girls to join together to fight and defeat them. They eventually win, however the energy remains tense. Miiya attempts to use her magic to soothe both Cranberry and Theremin Doll and diminish their will to fight, sharing a brief memory with Cranberry. This attempt would prove futile as Theremin Doll aims her sword at Cranberry, leading to Miiya getting stabbed after jumping between the blade and her friend.

As she was dying, Miiya would use the last of her energy to apologize to Cranberry for being unable to protect her, begging her to save Pechka. Miiya again apologizes for leaving Cranberry alone, passing away in her friend’s arms.

Theremin Doll[]

After waking up from a Coma, Miiya is approached by Theremin Doll for an interview about Musician Of The Forest, Cranberry. Together, the two of them decide to go through a variety of connections in order to try and find her.

Magical Daisy[]

One of the magical girls that Miiya Octave meets while searching for Cranberry is Magical Daisy.

Miiya Octave wasn’t aware of who Daisy was, or about her anime, but was ecstatic to meet her anyway due to Daisy’s knowledge of Star Queen, Miiya’s favorite anime. Daisy gives Miiya both her own autograph as well as Queen Earth’s, who is the protagonist of Star Queen, autograph.

Marika Fukuroi[]

During the events of Unripe Duet, Marika Fukuroi and Miiya Octave get into a fight after Theremin Doll calls Marika to their location.

During their fight, Miiya attempts to use her magic to convince Marika not to fight her, although it ends up having no effect on her. The two of them eventually have a slap fight, exchanging hits back and forth, the fight culminating in Marika pinning Miiya down with her foot against her neck. After threatening to call the cops, Marika runs away, leading to Miiya thinking it was because of her threat. In reality, it was because Archfiend Pam had sent one of her wings after Marika.

When the two of them talk again, Marika admits that she’s disappointed Miiya won’t try more in her fights.

Archfiend Pam[]

Archfiend Pam is the one who tells Miiya about what has happened to Cranberry during Miiya’s twenty-year long coma.

Pam later brings in Marika in order to tell Miiya exactly how Cranberry fights. After their conversation, Pam politely invites Miiya to come and visit the Archfiend Cram School whenever she has the time.

Pechka[]

Although the two do not interact, Miiya uses her remaining energy as she is dying to ask Cranberry to help and save Pechka.
