Maiya (マイヤ), also known by her real name Maya Mutou (武藤麻耶), is a character that first appeared in Hell Survival Game and made a reappearance as the main protagonist in Magical Girl Raising Project: breakdown.
She is Rareko's mentor and serves Yol's family, accompanying her young mistress and disciple to the late Sataborn's private island to discuss inheritance.

As a human, Maya is described as a woman in her 40's wearing a grey business suit and glasses. She has short black hair and grey eyes. She has thick and muscular muscles, especially in her legs, being visible through her suit.
Magical Girl[]
As a Magical Girl, Maiya wears a mage-like outfit, described as noble. She has yellow and purple eyes, and light red eyeshadow.
Personality[]
Seemingly violent and protective of Yol, she uses this personality as a facade and in actuality has good intentions.
Magic[]
Fights with a magic staff that beats liars.
Maiya fights with an iron staff that is stronger against those who have lied. The force of her staff depends on the opponent and how many times they have lied.
Since almost everyone has lied before, her staff is always sturdy enough to hurt someone.
Special Item(s)[]
- Magical Iron Staff (Former): A long iron staff that Maiya used to fight. Even without using her magic, Maiya’s staff is a strong weapon. According to Miss Marguerite, the iron staff has tasted the blood of many of Archfiend Cram School's Magical Girls.

Maiya accompanies Yol to the Island. She is incredibly protective of Yol.

Maiya and Rareko are partners that accompany Yol to the Island together.

Maiya and Miss Marguerite knew each other from before coming to the Island, as they met in Archfiend Cram School-related events. They appear to be on bad terms with each other.
