Calkoro (カルコロ), also known by her real name Calkoro Culumff (カルコロ・クルンフ), is one of the main protagonists of Magical Girl Raising Project: Black, Magical Girl Raising Project: White, and Magical Girl Raising Project: Red.
Calkoro is a Mage that is able to transform into a Magical Girl and the homeroom teacher of Class 2-F in Umemizaki Middle School.
Appearance[]
Human[]
As a human, Calkoro is an older woman. Her hair is dark, and she wears it up in a bun on top of her head. Her bangs are parted. She wears earrings and a black outfit with white patterns on the top, and a black bow in the middle. There are white ruffles on the collar.
Magical Girl[]
As a Magical Girl, Calkoro has short, wispy white hair. She has a fluffy cream-colored puffball on top of her head and has a similar puffball with a subtraction symbol on her bangs. She has white animal ears covered with purple ribbons and yellow puffs just underneath, along with earmuffs with additional symbols. Across her shoulders, she wears a fluffy yellow ring stretching into the shape of a wing. She has a division symbol tattooed on her upper arms and wears white gloves lined with yellow puffs. She also wears a long, white dress lined with puffs and purple ribbons, in which her backside is left exposed. She has a hot pink tail draped with purple ribbons. Her legs are covered with white, fishnet stockings with purple ribbons. She wears white heels with purple tips. Calkoro often carries around her salmon pink abacus with pink and purple beads.
Personality[]
Calkoro suffers from severe self-esteem issues. She does not believe herself to have the necessary qualities to be a teacher and is rather timid, being quickly intimidated by her superiors and even her own students. Still, she is by no means cowardly, quickly coming to her students' aid when they are in danger and being overjoyed when she saw that everyone was safe. However, she herself believes that she only acted out of selfishness, being more concerned about being fired than genuinely caring for her students. Calkoro is also quickly stressed out, which is mainly caused by Kana.
Calkoro also has a habit of transforming into her Magical Girl form and doing calculations to calm herself when stressed out.

Special Item(s)[]
- Magical Abacus: Calkoro's Abacus is incorporated with her power, but it is unknown how it works. However, she is able to ride onto her abacus, in a manner similar to that of a skateboard.

Halna Midi Meren[]
As the headmistress of Umemizaki Middle School, Halna is Calkoro's superior. Being intimidated by her, Calkoro actively tries to avoid her and not do anything that might upset her.
Miss Satou[]
Kana[]
Kana is one of Calkoro's students in Black.
Due to Kana's criminal background, Calkoro is intimidated by her from the moment Kana enters the magical girl class. This impression is not helped by Kana's odd and somewhat abrasive personality and tendencies, constantly stressing out Calkoro in turn. When Kana attempts to find out information about the group seperation in class, Calkoro breaks into an intense sweat under the pressure of Kana's stare and closeness, so much so that she nearly collapses after Kana takes her leave.

Diko is one of Calkoro's students. However, she is intimidated by her due to her human form's punkish looks, which causes her to further doubt her abilities as a teacher.
Classical Lillian[]
Classical Lillian is one of Calkoro's students in Black.
Calkoro counts Classical Lillian amongst some of the more notably "colorful" personalities of her students, specifically recalling a time in which Lillian submitted her book report recounting a "love affair between men that didn't seem it had been depicted".

Snow White[]
When the famous Snow White enrolled in Umemizaki, Calkoro initially feared it was to replace her. Even after learning she was a student, she worried that there was nothing she could teach the veteran and that many of her lessons revolving around Magical Girl Hunter's exploits would be seen as favoritism by her other students.

- Calkoro's name is a reference to a Japanese math counting game.
- Calkoro is the first-ever Mage in the series that can become a Magical Girl.
- This means in addition to her own magic, she's also able to cast a variety of spells.
- Calkoro is a major in criminology.
- She, Tama and Akane are the only Magical Girls whose Magical Girl names are also their real names without any alterations.
