Clarissa Toothedge (クラリッサ・トゥースエッジ), also known by her real name Lu (ルー), is one of the characters of Magical Girl Raising Project: breakdown.
In breakdown, she is Navi Ru's partner and accompanies him to the late Sataborn's private island to discuss inheritance.

Appearance[]
Human[]
Given that she is only 10 years old, Lu looks very young. In Breakdown (Part 1), she is described as wearing a skirt with suspenders. She is depicted with dark hair, fringed bangs, and a long sleeved shirt.
Magical Girl[]
As a Magical girl, Clarissa Toothedge has short, blonde hair styled into a wolf cut with grey streaks throughout. On the top of her head, she has large feline-like pointed ears that striped dark and light grey, with part of the fur inside her ears being braided. She has a golden diamond-shaped earring clipped onto her left ear. Her eyes are a greyish blue, and she has sharp canine teeth. She has a black ribbon tied into a bow around her neck that fades into a pale cyan at the ends. She also has long and sharp nails akin to claws.
Clarissa wears a white leotard with a sweetheart neckline and a gold edge along said neckline. A gold, diamond-shaped accessory is also attached to the top of her neckline. Black, cage-like fabric is attached to the bottom edges of the leotard, and she has a black ribbon tied into a bow around her right thigh. Over her leotard, Clarissa wears large, fluffy, dark and light grey striped coat with various tufts of fur sticking out at the sides. Her sleeves are somewhat bulb-shaped, and the cuffs of her sleeves are black with two gold buttons on each cuff. Clarissa also wears black thigh-high boots with a small heel, and claws over the toes of her boots. Her boots also have gold buttons going down. Behind her coat, Clarissa has a dark and light grey striped feline tail.
Clarissa is overall described as being very cat and beast-like, and her costume is said to be very furry by Love Me Ren-Ren.
Personality[]
At first glance, Clarissa appears to be a cheerful and jolly person with an accent who says the first thing that comes to her mind out loud. However, her true demeanor is far more devious, having no qualms with committing abduction and murder for the sake of her and Navi's goals. She is also fairly perceptive, quickly seeing through others' true natures, and is noted by Dreamy☆Chelsea to be a skilled liar, capable of authentically deflecting the blame of her actions onto others.
However, being a child, Clarissa is also slightly naive, believing that Ragi would just go along with her and Navi's plans after a little convincing.
Magic[]
Knows the location of any object she’s bitten.
When she bites a user's outfit, she will be able to know their exact location as well as being able to detect the speed of the user, whether the user is walking or running. She can also bite objects so she never loses them.
Special Item(s)[]
Sword effective against Homunculi: A Black sword that is especially strong against Homunculi. Clarissa is given this sword by Navi Ru in order to defeat Francesca.
Relationships[]

Clarissa accompanies Navi Ru to The Island. They have worked together in the past, and despite teasing each other, Clarissa follows Navi's instructions. It is later revealed that she is Navi Ru's niece.

Rareko[]
Rareko was Clarissa and Navi's ally whom they planned to cooperate with to fix the island's teleportation gates. However, Clarissa saw that the events on the island were adversely affecting Rareko's mental state, causing her to conclude that she was unreliable and plan to dispose of her once her job was completed. Clarissa also disliked Rareko on a personal level, quickly deducing her true nature as a two-faced narcissist.
Ragi Zwe Nento[]
Clarissa rescued Ragi following the instructions of Navi Ru and left him in a cave. She isn't afraid of teasing Ragi, just like she does with Navi. When Ragi attempted to escape, Clarissa tied him up and brought him back to the cave. The second time he escaped, Clarissa started to think that maybe she should break his arms and legs so he wouldn't try to escape a third time.
Francisca Francesca[]
Clarissa is aware of Francesca's existence on the island, as well as her abilities and weaknesses, due to being present when Navi Ru released her from the lab within the island.
Once Francesca gets out of control, Clarissa joins forces with Love Me Ren-Ren to take her down. This ultimately fails, however, when Francesca is able to counter Clarissa's attacks and kill her.
Clantail[]
When they first met, Clarissa considered Clantail an amateur and someone who wasn't dangerous. They engaged in battle in the forest, as Clarissa attempted to hide Ragi's hat from Clantail, which made Clantail believe Clarissa had done something to Ragi. Clarissa believed herself to be capable of defeating Clantail, but she quickly learned that she underestimated her rival and was forced to flee.
Love Me Ren-Ren[]
Clarissa joins forces with Love Me Ren-Ren in order to try and take down Francisca Francesca.

Clarissa was ordered to dispose of Touta by Navi, who feared that the boy might become an obstacle to him through his closeness to Yol. While disliking the idea of killing a child, Clarissa fully intended to carry out her uncle's order.
