Asmona (アスモナ) is one of the main antagonists of Magical Girl Raising Project: White and Magical Girl Raising Project: Red.
She is an extremely strong Archfiend Cram School graduate who works with Pythie Frederica.
Appeareance[]
Magical Girl[]
As described by The Third Lapis Lazuline, Asmona wears a red newsboy cap with white polka-dots. She has glasses, gloves, boy shorts, and suspenders. Asmona is said to look like the spitting image of a boy detective.
Due to lacking frills and magical girlish ornaments, The Third Lapis Lazuline comments that Asmona is most likely from an older generation of Magical Girls.[1]
Personality[]
Asmona is seen to be very serious, and knows how to get things done when needed. She also tends to imply things with her words, especially when talking to Pythie Frederica.
Despite her reputation as an Archfiend Cram School student, she is said to have a very righteous personality and would also sermonize to her juniors. She appreciates timid newcomers who only need verbal warnings to stop whatever they are doing.
Asmona considers herself a dull and old-fashioned Magical girl, getting embarrassed when Pythie praises her.
Magic[]
Releases spores from her mushroom hat.
Asmona is able to grow poisonous mushrooms from spores she lets out while moving. The more Asmona moves around, the more spores are released from her body. They appear as poisonous-looking red and white mushrooms, releasing yellow mist into the air. These mushrooms can cause abnormalities throughout the body of another person.
It is currently unknown what the range of Asmona’s magical ability is and the exact abnormalities the mushrooms cause.

- Magical Tablet: A Magical Tablet that Asmona uses in order to analyze the blood left at a scene of a battle.
- Mushroom Hat: Asmona’s magical item that can release mushroom spores.
Relationships[]
Pythie Frederica[]
Asmona and Pythie Frederica work together in White. Asmona has many unspoken frustrations towards Pythie, and is quick to get short with her. Asmona subtly implies that Pythie breaks Magical Girls who aren’t similar to her.
Lapis Lazuline III[]
During the events of White, Asmona fights Lapis Lazuline III when the latter infiltrates Pythie’s manor. She is able to perfectly counter Lazuline by using her magic and the knowledge of her fighting style given to her by Pythie, causing the latter to consider her a formidable opponent. In the end, however, they never concluded their battle, as Asmona angrily leaves upon learning that the Pythie stationed at the manor was a body-double.
Archfiend Pam[]
Asmona is stated to be one of the oldest students of Archfiend Pam. It has also been said by the author that Pam would ask her to do accounting work for events, although Asmona was not paid for her work.
Thunder-General Adelheid[]
Asmona is Adelheid’s senior, having known both her and her mother from their time at Archfiend Cram School. Asmona advocates for Adelheid’s character multiple times throughout White.
Archfiend Cram School[]
Due to her righteousness, opinions from Asmona’s peers are mixed. Some shun her, while others adore her.
